The movie for the Koshonin series did not quite turn out the way I had expected. In fact, something made me feel that it is different here. Nope, it’s not the cast since the regular task force on the law enforcement side have returned their roles in this movie as well.
Right, it is the lack of negotiations by our main lead during the main event of the movie. While she does do some amounts of talking, most of it does not involve negotiating. Not that usually the negotations are exceptionally exciting to watch, but this being off from the usual style as well as the main theme is even harder to take.
But well, if you are looking for showdowns with the bad guys, there is still some here. Actually apart from the lack of negotiations done by our lead actress, it is still somewhat passable in terms of it being a hijack situation though it could really be more exciting than what was shown. Most of the action isn’t exactly very intense and even could be considered on the mild side of things.
To be honest the movie made me more interested in the political (seems like it) conspiracy behind it which doesn’t get a clean resolution here. While it is not exactly the best to see things left unresolved properly, I think I probably wouldn’t want a sequel to move along this lead. I suppose this movie would only be watched by those who have gone through the first 2 seasons of drama. Others can probably skip this one and move on to other choices. Well, me and my way of completing a series.
