Yeah, another week has gone by just like that once again. Not much happening this week, though it is likely not the case for many others who celebrated Valentine’s Day earlier this week. It is also one of the rare days that I see many people leaving on time, probably in a hurry to go off and meet their significant other since I believe all of those do have someone, though of course I wouldn’t know what they were up to that day.
Anyhow, it’s a new cycle of development at work. After all that chaos last week, I see that nothing has really changed the past week. I don’t see any (visible) attempts to rectify or improve things. Heard something might be coming up next week but I shall see if it is mere hearsay. Meanwhile, I am in the midst of adjusting my attitude accordingly to match the overall pace and atmosphere. Not quite there yet as I need to fine tune a little more. Oh well, I just hope I don’t end up overdoing it, though I think that is rather unlikely.
In other matters, I have (finally?) begun taking some concrete action towards some of the things I have in mind for quite some time. However, just because I’ve started doing something means that things will go smoothly. Thus, it’s still anybody’s guess when a certain plan will be completed. At least I’m taking a step forward in getting things that I want. In the end, you do need to be ‘selfish’ and go for things that you want or you might never get it or achieve certain targets. After all, that’s what I see practically everyone doing. Not much consideration for others it seems. Oh well, I should have known better than to expect such ‘noble’ things in present day and age.
Also, I suppose it’s only right to take what everyone says with a pinch of salt. After all, many people often forget what they have said or agreed previously, or perhaps they have conveniently chosen not to commit themselves to it in the end. There are still a handful of trustworthy people (these people will still have my trust until proven otherwise) around, but they are really the rare minority, or am I coming into contact with the wrong group of people? Either way, it’s better not to expect anything than to be disappointed time and time again. I know that’s probably not a very ‘right’ thing to do, but it’s probably going to cause me less strain and stuff hopefully.
Oh well, another narrative yet not very revealing entry has come to an end. More scheduled entries will follow the rest of the week. I sincerely hope that the coming week will be a better one. Meanwhile, everyone take care, especially with the erratic weather that has been going on the recent few days. See you next week, probably.
