Yeah, another “late” entry because I only just reached home not too long ago, after sending XX off for his SEP. Kinda late to start a semester, but I suppose that’s how the university over starts its term. He had a longer “holiday” earlier (actually was doing his internship) and will have a much shorter break later on when he completes his exchange.
For once, I wasn’t sending off someone at terminal 3, but rather back to the old terminal 1. Looks really different from T3, perhaps partially due to some upgrading works going on. The counters seem to clear faster at T3, and it’s more spacious, less crowded and better air conditioning at the new terminal. I guess it’s new for a good reason =P Anyway didn’t really get to talk much to him because most of the time was spent waiting for the not-so-fast counter to process the other passengers and also the fact that his entire family came to send him off. Yes, his siblings, parents and even grandma. Of course, his gf was also there, which made it even harder to, well, “barge in”.
Haha, hope he enjoys his time there, and doesn’t have too much of a problem trying to communicate with the locals. And finally, hope he returns to his msn habits, cos he hasn’t really come online much ever since many, many months back. Perhaps then, we might be able to catch some glimpses of him since a time difference of 7 hours ain’t all that bad, compared to some other areas in the world =X
Sidetracking a bit, I saw a movie poster for Kaiji on the way back. It’s interesting to note that Singapore theatres are actually bringing this movie in. Hmm, but I doubt I’ll have the time to watch during weekends (which are non-PHs). Oh well.
Yup, that’s all I have to say. And stay tuned for #4 some time later in the year. =P I think there *should* be. =X
