As the title of the entry suggests, it is a combo video, not some astro-related video or anything. I didn’t ask how the name came about, but judging from the “cast” of the makers who appeared in the video, it is probably related to how all these people are from the biggest communities of KOF have participated in this collaboration project.
The intro looked pretty cool, but I bet there’s going to be the usual group who will go complaining about it as they watch on. Certainly it does look quite nicely edited and planned, but the type of effect used became a little repetitive due to the need of many “scenes” as the words are split across so many segments. The ending credits was pretty nice too, at least it tries to make its own style of credits and acknowledgment, though there are a couple of minor flaws such as spelling errors =P
Combos wise, it is definitely not too shabby considering the members of this video. However, there are some which are notably simpler and others which are more eye-catching. It should be pretty obvious for a considerable portion of the combos so I won’t be saying here explicitly which ones just in case I get myself thrown into some kind of a dispute for no good reason. Haha. I’m pretty sure I will be able to find more specific and targeted comments in the forums in which this video will be released/posted on.
Overall, it’s a pretty good package, but given the potential of the cast, I must say that much more could have been achieved. I guess collaboration is still something that doesn’t exactly work at its best yet. Maybe it’ll change for the better in future. Or maybe not.
