Yea, another pretty old drama, coming in at some 8 years old now, but it has been on Jdorama.com’s top 50 list for a long long time so I thought no harm taking a look at this classic (can it be called one yet?).
It turns out to be a rather light-hearted drama with some amounts of comedy. The drama contains various stories of the customers who come to this bakery as well as the stories of the people who work in them. A simple presentation and pace somehow sets the mood pretty right.
However, to some, this might turn out to be a pretty boring drama as it doesn’t have much intensity in some sense. Or at least I didn’t feel much.
It does have interesting on-screen “commentary” though, which adds some kind of effect to the show, be it hilarious or something which I can’t really put words to describe it. Lol. It’s the overall feel of it I suppose… Of course, it has enough comedy scenes that adds on more entertainment and enjoyment to the show. =D
A warning though, the cakes and desserts look really nice. For those who have a liking for such foods are most likely going to end up feeling the urge to eat after/while watching. Lol…
Overall, those who enjoy light-hearted drama with a reasonably slower paced series will most likely liking this drama. Yeap.
