A romantic comedy starring a big and well-known cast tends to remind me of some other movie that was screened quite a while before this, but it seems it’s not really that directly related (I think). As the title might suggest, it’s about the various people and their love lives, seeing whether the other party is serious about or interested in them.
As there are many characters (just look at the poster), it took quite a while to introduce them all and set them up. In fact, the characters do have some kind of connections with each other, though mostly not direct knowledge. And yea well, some things are overly exaggerated, which kills whatever the intention was behind that exaggeration, which is a bad thing since that just means some parts look really out of place and it takes points off the show’s worth imo. Also, since there are so many people who need screen time for their story to be told, the amount of time for each of them is naturally less. Thus, sometimes it can appear to be a bit rushed and all despite the movie being more than 2 hours long. But that can’t be helped I suppose.
At least there are still some nice moments in the show, as well as some meaningful messages. Perhaps some food for thought for some people out there. Not really for me. Haha. I guess that’s the best part of the show, apart from the occasional funny scenes. My take: 6/10
