[CMV] Yupcom Movie Season 2

Yup, Yupcom’s back with another new combo video, and as usual it contains quite many sick combos and the main focus is as usual on KOF2000, though there’s some minor content outside of this game.

Let’s see, I shall start with the biggest complaint I have for some of the content in the video. That is, some combos really require the power gauge to be set to MAX or it won’t work as how it is being shown in the video. Well, at least some of the setups and flow make up for this imperfection.

As mentioned earlier, many of the combos have their own particular ways of setting them up, usually utilising some of the bugs in the game to the limits, mostly involving with some form of striker use. But of course, there’s a considerable amount of things that I do not understand after watching it for a couple of times to make sure I didn’t miss out something I already know. Some examples would be the freezing bug as shown near the end of the video etc. Perhaps forums will have more discussion on this as the days go by, so I shall keep a look out for clues. Not that it is very likely I will be drowning myself in intensive combo making unless some nice idea hits me which hasn’t happened in a long, long time. Oh by the way, some of the combos have already appeared in the recent New Heart video.

Of course, some may find the video a little short, running at a little over 3.5 minutes. But it has enough combos to make you see/think twice about them, and I understand it isn’t easy to dish out a considerable amount of content alone. For a solo effort, I must say that Yupcom has continued to show that he is great in what he does. Well done =) Hopefully there will be a YMV3. Hehe, wouldn’t mind waiting for a while for that to come out.
