Yep, another year, another Naruto movie. This time we get to see Sasuke (stupid anime currently still fillers… ><), but turns out it’s not very much of Sasuke, though we do get to see them sort of working together at some point in the movie.
Anyway, this time Konoha gets air raided by some mysterious group of ninjas, who are actually from a lost shinobi country which was supposed to be exterminated quite some years back. Quite expectedly, they will need to take care of these unfriendly ninjas out to take revenge for what Konoha did to them in the previous World War. Haha. For more of the story, you can just read the wiki article. It practically writes out all the things that happened in the movie. After all, there’s even a note in the article that the plot portion is too long. Lol.
Anyway, we do get to see quite many people in action. But of course, Naruto gets the most screen time (not surprising). Some of them look quite cool, though I think the main storyline that’s supposed to come in the anime series soon (when the damn fillers actually end) will be more exciting. Heh, after all you can’t expect all that much from a spinoff movie.
One thing I noticed is that the baddie in the movie performed a “power up” stance. It really looks like the one in Dragon Ball. I really lol-ed at that part. Well of course, he didn’t turn out to be as crazy as those in Dragon Ball, or there’ll probably be nothing left in the world of Naruto anymore. =X
Overall, a pretty ok movie, or maybe it’s just because I didn’t exactly have a lot of expectations for this, seeing how the past Naruto movies have been. Good thing I didn’t, because Sasuke didn’t get as much screen time as I thought he would.
p.s. Not surprisingly, there’s going to be another movie this year, but that’ll have to wait till next year before I do actually get to see it. Hic.

I love Naruto in general. I have been a fanatic fan of it.
Naruto shippuden movie 2 is really a great movie. :)
