Needless to say, one look at the title of the show and you would most likely be able to guess that it’s based on the latin phrase for proving/showing things such as mathematical proofs etc. Yup, indeed this show will try to prove the reasoning/logic behind certain events/incidents/cases that happen in each episode.

Yeah, it’s an “episodic” drama when it comes to the different cases, which unfortunately, isn’t all that interesting and impressive for the bigger part. At the beginning it seemed quite ok, then it started to disappoint me soon enough, but at least some of the theories and whatnot are indeed some actual scientific stuffs that I didn’t know of, but it doesn’t really form the focus of the show, so it didn’t quite get my interest fixed.

Well, the guy supposedly dropped out of MIT even though he was considered a genius, due to some reasons which was given 1 episode somewhere in the middle of the show to tell viewers why. Sometimes he does seem quite smart in figuring things out from knowledge he knows, yet at times I find it quite unconvincing of his “genius” status. Haha.

But well, it does have some comical moments (though not that many either), and is presented in a light-hearted mood instead of heavy scientific oriented style. Even with this, overall it doesn’t really stand out a lot and I do suppose Japanese viewers kind of agree on that since the ratings for the show isn’t very high (kinda low I think). Catch this if you want =) On to my next show… …
