Yeap, a new year has arrived, and it’s supposedly something worth celebrating for. I mean, there are plenty of countdown parties of various scales and sizes just yesterday. I wonder how many of those countdowns bothered about the “extra second” added. Probably not many, since most wouldn’t really be bothered by things like 1 second. Lol.
Anyway, to me, a new year means school is drawing close once again, and definitely there’s the thing called CORS that’s gonna haunt many NUS students once again. After some snooping around and a brief check of timings (exams, lects only), I’ve finally decided on the modules I’m gonna take next sem (I think bidding shouldn’t be *that big* of a problem lahz). I haven’t gone to do any drafts of possible timetables, to see if it’s possible to sync with friends taking certain common modules. More company with friends is almost always a good thing. =D I guess I should get started on it soon, since round 1a starts tmr. Luckily SoC has finally offered to pre-allocate core modules so I guess I don’t have very much to do for 1a.
However, I also do need to get down to settling into my room. Er, what I really meant is to move back my stuff from the rest of the house since my room’s done up already. Well, at least the end result of the room is shiok! Feels really comfy in here, which may result in me cooping in my room on entire days if there’s no plan to go out or anything. Haha. As much as I would like to get down to enjoying the supremely nice view on my new computer, there are things that need to be done. Sigh.
So you may be wondering – why am I here typing a blog entry instead of getting things done? Well, I can only say that I’m procrastinating like mad. Lol. I’ll probably spend a fair portion of the night getting some things tidied up and sorted, so yea you might not find me very active later on (for those who have my msn). Haha.
Oh well, hope everyone has a good year ahead. =)
