Cool Soul team brings yet another masterpiece! This time it’s on KOF96. Actually many, many, many months ago a preview was already released, but chapter 1 of the combo video is only released earlier today. It sure made a lot of people wait for a long time, but it’s certainly worth it.
The content is simply great. Although not everything is a 100% combo, it often contains new ways of “constructing” a combo. Apparently the combos are as old as 1.5 years old but they don’t seem very old to me, although some of them have appeared before somewhere else.
Many requires a lot of hit exchanges, or even “co-operation” to achieve. Such co-ordination is still beyond me. Haha. Of course, there are also some height or even character restrictions in order to achieve [based on my judgment after seeing the combos, which should be somewhat correct lah =P]. Thumbs up to the Madman [yes, his combos are quite mad >.<] and his team of excellent combo makers.
Editing wise, it’s not exceptionally flashy but there’s still quite a bit of effort put into it in order to make the combos look more amazing and stunning. Hehe. After all, some of the combos are so fast that if you blink your eyes you will miss out on the important/crucial highlight of that piece of work. =D
Although it says chapter 1, it seems that the rest of the chapters will not be publicly released. It’ll be made into a DVD and meant for a limited release to a certain select group of people. Needless to say, I wouldn’t be part of that privileged group, so all I can hope is that either the team changes their mind, or some kind soul [pun not intended] will share with me the rest of the content.
