Ah, finally caught up with the missing part (for the first 4) of this 5 part remake/redraw. Well, this movie is a retelling of the major events leading up to and including Kenshiro vs Roah’s final battle.
As with all other parts of this “remake”, the animation has undergone some very nice rework to make it so much more pleasing to the eyes. Sure is a lot nicer to watch it now than the original series, which isn’t that bad considering the era the latter was produced and aired.
In this movie, it isn’t exactly focused on specific character(s) but rather a string of events leading to a final battle, so first time viewers might be a little lost since *iirc*, in the actual series, these events do not happen immediately in that exact sequence. So doesn’t really help people to piece together the timeline of events effectively enough.
Ah well, nonetheless it’s still nice to see it in nicer animation and drawings. 1 more final part to conclude the entire remake collection. =D You’ll probably see an entry on that in due time =)
