Another anime set in a Chinese environment, but this one contains fantasy elements in it. Actually other than the setting, the anime pretty much isn’t really that concerned with the Chinese stuff since the fantasy elements seem to be of more importance. Haha.

Anyway, the biggest guy at the top left corner of the picture, and the smaller guy in the middle-front are the 2 main “powerhouses”, while the other 5 serve as warriors who are supposed to not aid in the 2 powerhouses clashing since legend says that when the 2 clash, something bad will happen to the country. Heh.

As it is, the smaller guy, Taito, who’s also the main lead of the story, plays the righteous side and starts out as a “weak” warrior who is unable to be in control of his potential power. Of course, as the story goes along, he becomes more powerful, and in the end being able to save the day. Along the way, there are actually interesting developments to the story that made me wonder how the story would progress and end from there. Thankfully, things kinda work out, though I think the ending episode made the entire ‘final boss’ part look too, erm, brief. Haha.

On a side note, the 2nd half of the show’s OP and ED seems to be totally dominated by High and Mighty Color. Well, I guess it’s not too bad as theme songs for the show, and they’re really getting popular huh.

Overall, it’s quite an okay anime to watch though I didn’t really find anything particularly spectacular about this one.
