Woah, this is one short anime series, and it isn’t named OVA wor. Quite unusual I guess, considering normal series that only have a few eps like this one will be labelled as an OVA.
Anyway, this story is about this underground game sponsored by filthy rich people to get teams of 3 to battle it out and try to get hold of their opponent’s disk (see picture). The participants get paid for every win they have, and more and more the further they proceed into the game (by winning of course).
It’s actually not a simple game, but rather one of violence and scheming to get the hands on their opponent’s disk. I thought it can actually be a proper anime series, but somehow its manga only has 1 volume because it had problems serialising. Ah wells, kinda bad that it’s only 3 episodes. The development like not shiok enough, though I can’t say it’s an outstanding or unique storyline.
A nice short anime, though the development is really lacking due to the manga being super short I guess.
