Sequel to the first Narnia movie, and based on C.S. Lewis’ book, this movie takes place a year after the previous story (in modern times), but it’s supposedly 1,300 years later in the world of Narnia. This time, the siblings will aid Prince Caspian in his quest to regain the throne that’s rightfully his but is taken by his evil uncle.

Seeing the plot summary on wiki, it indeeds cover all the things portrayed in the show and yet it took 2 hours. Inevitably, it felt a little draggy at times. Sometimes, I was wondering when the story was gonna progress further that leads nearer to the ending which can be easily guessed from the start of the show, or even without watching it.

While there is violence shown in the movie, there isn’t very much blood shown despite all the battles and fights. I guess it’s probably to make it a more appropriate movie for kids and children to view. Heh, though with so little blood, it’s hardly convincing that the enemies are actually struck down (or killed).

Mistakes wise, it’s super obvious that Susan’s arrows never seem to decrease in numbers despite using them in battles. Also, I noticed on some occasions it decreased and then suddenly increased back to a “default” amount again. I did notice that for about half the show, there was no king for the Telmarine kingdom, which according to MovieMistakes is a mistake made by the movie which isn’t present in the book. Lol, apparently there are many other print-to-screen mistakes committed in this show. Hmm, there was no mention of this, but I’m wondering why when the siblings go back to the real world, their uniforms, bags and stuff are all with them yet the torchlight that was used earlier did not return (as mentioned by one of the siblings).

It can be quite draggy at times, but at least the movie tries to make it big and have some kind of epic feel. Not that bad overall, though I wouldn’t say it’s a must watch. My take: 6/10.

p.s. seems like there will be a sequel to this, expected in the year 2010. Don’t know if I will watch it.
