I have no idea why I was watching this movie, which is more than 7 years ago, and also an Arnold film. Nothing against Arnold, but he looks like weird onscreen trying to act as the ordinary man on the street until some circumstances forces him to become “super skillful” and takes revenge on someone (or organisation). Heh.
Well, at least the topic revolving the plot is about cloning and the ethics behind it. Considering its time of release, not a bad time to do such a movie as a commercialisation strategy. Lols. As such, it can be quite disturbing seeing the same few baddies keep “respawning”, only to die shortly after (screen time wise). Eeks… Heh, I sure don’t wanna see that happening in real life, or maybe it’s already happening without me knowing?! =P
As i mentioned earlier, the “respawn” of the baddie minions did put me off, especially after the introductory and setting up of plot phase, where they keep hunting Arnold down. And apparently it costs US$1.2 million to “respawn” each of them. Lol, they certainly didn’t look like they’re worth it, considering how fast Arnold manages to kill them. Heh, he’s Arnold after all.
Well, the story’s pretty nicely summarised, as usual, on Wiki, so I won’t go any further into the story. Though it’s not like I mentioned a lot about it lah, hahaha. Anyway, there seems to be quite a few continuity issues with the show, probably due to having 2 Arnolds running around the movie. Haha. Ah wells, MovieMistakes did a very good job at spotting those I saw, and much more… Lol.
Overall, a pretty average Arnold movie. Heh. My take: 6/10
