Judging from the title of the anime, it’s not hard to guess this is based off some game (or its characters). Indeed, this is an anime adaptation of the RPG counterpart which was released some 5 years before this series aired.

Hmm, the summary over at the Wiki article for the anime subsection isn’t exactly very detailed (usually it’s not bad). At least they did a decent job with some write up for each of the more important characters in the show. Well, if you bother to somewhat glance through the wiki article, you’ll realise that there are 7 jewels to collect. Yeap, that means 1 episode is usually dedicated to finding of 1 jewel. so that covers more than half the content liaoz. Lol, there’s a bit of non-story related episodes as well, though it’s just like 2 episodes or something. The ending part is more of a mini arc (like 3 eps?! heh), where the gal on the left of the guy (our viewpoint) becomes some “destructive god” and the rest is trying to prevent her from destroying the world.

Well actually all that is “planned” by this Gazer guy, who’s like the “god” of Earth, watching and observing it for years and years. He’s apparently very fed-up with humans polluting the Earth etc, and wants to “reset” it. Sounds familiar doesn’t it? Haha. Ah well, should have expected that to happen. It’s not the first time liao… Lol… I wonder if that’s partly the reason why many anime series based off game titles aren’t exactly very good. Hic.

Overall, it’s pretty much an ordinary anime, something that many anime titles based off game counterparts can offer. Lol… It’s somewhat better than Shining Tears X Wind, but that’s not a very good gauge is it? =P

p.s. I chose this picture over the logo of the anime (available at the Wiki article) because I thought the logo with a black background looked a little dull. Haha, not that I’m supposed to be sensitive to colours wor.
