A new CMV released not too long ago, by KOF Diadema. I would suppose this is a big production of that community, considering the length (and size) of the video, and also the number of participants and their contributions in the show. As such, it is natural to expect a little bit more since it’s a collective effort and requires quite a bit of time and space to get hold of this hefty video.
Edited by Saga, which I honestly have no inkling (sorry) of any major editing works previously, I can see the efforts in editing put in, but definitely falls short of what most big KOF communities would be expecting of a video of this scale. Well, of course, I’m no position to criticise heavily on the editing since I’m pretty much a noob at it too. Haha. Either way, it’s not easy managing a video of such length so I’ll just give the editor some credit for his hard work in organising the stuff. The music tracks chosen aren’t exactly the type that I like, but again, I believe it should be more of the editor’s (or whoever that decided it) preference.
Combos wise, it’s not revolutionary or ground breaking, but it does feature some technically difficult combos in there. However, there are also some rather basic combos that I think shouldn’t be put in as it spoils the overall feel of a team production. Certainly, to an average player, a lot of the content would be somewhat intriguing, but to people who have seen hundreds and thousands of videos/combos, they’ll probably want to criticise this video heavily, along with its hefty size (and time taken to grab it).
Well, even though I expected more from such a big production, I wouldn’t want to condemn such a piece of work as I understand how much work is required to produce a video. Perhaps it’s not the best, nor is it near the good standard set by the community, but I think what’s most important is the efforts that go behind it. I’m writing this even before this news is being posted on the bigger KOF forums, and I can already expect some strong criticism from some of the users. Oh well, I guess it’s the same kind of (part of) treatment that I used to get when I produced some videos back then. For those who bother (I’m guessing almost no one), below are some basic information about the video, and some links to download.
