Hehe, clearing backlog of stuff, and this is one of them (sad to say). Perhaps should have watched this during sem time since it’s a comedy (yeah well I knew that beforehand) and it does make me laugh on several occasions even though I’m kinda in a relaxed mood now. Could have been a good stress reliever man, though it could also potentially distract me from what I’m supposed to do, not that I usually do them anyway. Haha.

Very nice summary up there in the wiki article. As expected of groink, one of the old-timers (I think?) and great contributors over @ D-Addicts. Yeah well, for those who know a bit of Jap would have figured out this drama would be about. Hohum. Perhaps the picture is of some help, or maybe not.

Anyway, quite many funny things do happen throughout the series, which makes it one of the more entertaining dramas in the season. Then again, there were also other comedy dramas in that season, but each of them has their own uniqueness and genre. I guess this is somewhat different. Haha. Of course as usual, many things are exaggerated (somewhat), but it’s all for the fun and laughter. Whee.

Cool, seems like they shot on site in one of the big departmental stores in Japan. Quite interesting ne, though it’s not impossible since the consumer area (as shown for many parts in the show, aside from the back/storage area) is just 1 corner of the level. I guess only Japanese viewers will be able to tell if it’s the real thing or not. Haha.

I guess the only bad thing would be the ending. Towards the end certain things happen that seem to be quite, erm, weird to me. Kinda abrupt and all, but still somewhat acceptable since it’s not the first time I’ve seen such things happen. Perhaps it’s nothing that weird over there in Japan. Lol~

Overall it’s a nice relaxing drama. Have a good laugh if you decide to pick up this one.

p.s. the drama that aired after this one, is Iryu season 2. w00ts. expect a review on that when I’m done with it.

p.s.2 I’m sure for those of you who are alert enough, you must have already realised that this was drafted during the holidays between sem1 and sem2. For those who didn’t, well…
