Hmm, though it’s a 2 hour 20 minute special, most of it is actually just flashbacks. So yah, nothing much one leh, except the fact that it’s using the opportunity to encourage another patient with the same disease since she’s skipping her medication and rehab sessions.
Kinda disappointed with this SP, since it doesn’t really offer anything new. Just more of a way to continue its “influence” in the drama world. Hahaha. But ok lah, the actual series was nice, and has set the standard of “sad dramas” for me. Kinda “immune” to other sad dramas nowadays thanks to this show. Yea, some more it was my first uber sad jdorama, so it really overkilled me to the max. Hohum.
Even though it’s sad, I’d still recommend people to watch the original series (no, not this special). But if u’re lazy you can also watch this SP lah, though I find that it doesn’t really have all that touch in this SP (or maybe cause I know what happened liao or I’m just numb already).
p.s. this must be the shortest drama review I’ve written so far. Lols.
