Some info:This is another short series, with a total of 11 episodes. Pretty interesting idea, being a zombie under a contract to pay off debts. This is exactly what the 2 main male characters are doing. A normal high school girl who has the ability to see “dark black rings” around people’s neck has been dragged into this whole situation because this ability of hers will help identify other zombies (people who have dark black rings around their necks) for the 2 guys to hunt down. Yeah that’s part of their job to earn money to pay off the debts.
There are a few mini “arcs”, as in really mini. Basically it’s like some kind of showcase to what are the things they normally can encounter before going on to something that seems to be more important, which I believe is linked to the main background storyline of this series. The ending of this show also seems to suggest that a sequel could be possible, since the main story is far from over. There are still many things that could be expanded upon so having a sequel isn’t that bad an idea. In fact, it might be better to explain some things more clearly and maybe have a proper ending to it the next time around.
The animation and drawing can be quite stylish at times, but sometimes it also appears to be kinda less than what you would have expected. Kinda weird at times, but the overall feeling is still good. =D I seem to recognise some of the voice actors/actresses but somehow i can’t map their voices to other anime characters in other series. Heh. Goes to show I still have a long way to go when it comes to anime. Lololol… It also has its fair share of humour and comedy, but isn’t a lot since they don’t really have that much screen time to do so anyway. =D
Overall, this show as many other short shows are, isn’t exactly the most enjoyable of anime series but the potential for better development is there. Too bad it wasn’t fully used. I might consider watching the 2nd season, if there’s one.
