Some info @ D-addicts Wiki
This is a Spring 2007 Special Drama aired in Japan, and it’s adapted from a manga. It also has an anime version (click on link to see info @ ANN) which started airing before I was born. You could say it’s an old show having a new look in the modern times, starring one of today’s biggest Japanese actress, Ito Misaki. Her fans will probably watch this show regardless of my review here I guess. Haha.
From some scenes, it can be clearly seen that they are shot in a studio with certain things remade. The lighting which is supposed to be sunlight and the sky which looks all so unreal gave it away immediately. Oh well, at least they did try. Lol~~
I wonder if it’s because it’s adapted from a manga that some actions and scenes very manga/anime-like rather than realistic. The actions seem quite exaggerated at times and it can be quite a put off after seeing them for several times. Perhaps it’s an important characteristic of the people, but I still find it irritating. Lols.
Nothing very special or bad about this show though. Probably explains the 12.1% viewership. Dont quite understand why it’s a hit manga (or so wiki says) though. Maybe I’m missing out on something here or the SP is a poor showcase of the content of the full story…. Ah well~
