2) Wiki – Not really wiki for this short OVA series, but Prince of Tennis (PoT) in general.
This 13 ep OVA is a continuation of the storyline of the 178 ep TV series. This time the team heads to the National Tournament, as the title of the anime suggests. Lol.
Basically still very similar style to the TV series, with more tricks, more ultimate techniques and stronger players. As usual, if Jap high school kids are really so powerful, they can happily go challenge real life masters/pros already. After all, it’s an anime. =D
There’s still yet another OVA after this one that’s still being released every 2 months now. I guess the reason for these OVA eps being spread out so far is to prevent the anime from overtaking the manga as I think the manga isn’t very far from where the anime is. Too much fillers for PoT is gonna be terrible, though they certainly have included that before (sighs).
For those who liked the TV series, you can watch the OVA as well. It’s in some ways nicer too, imo. For those who dont like anime titles such as PoT, please stay away. Lol~
