Japanese title: のだめカンタービレ
Some info on this anime:
1) ANN
2) Wiki
This is the anime adaptation, which aired after the live-action drama adaptation ended its run in Japan. The storyline and events are almost the same (i think. since i only watched a few eps of the anime here and there and the content is pretty much the same), so inevitably comparison between anime and drama versions will arise.
The story itself is pretty nice, characters are interesting and packaged with nice classical music whenever they are practising or having a performance. That alone is enough reason to watch the show. Personally, the drawings for the anime (probably following the style of manga) weren’t exactly to my best liking so I prefer the live action version.
The VA for the show were pretty okay but somehow the feeling the drama gave me was better, probably because it seemed more real seeing the actors/actresses expressions + actions together with whatever they were speaking. Particularly the Maestro, I prefer the live-action actor much more. Hahahahaha.
Overall, it’s quite a nice show to watch, but u can leave this out if u’ve watched the drama version before. =)
