Had an outing yesterday, with the aim of watching Die Hard 4.0. Due to Clarence’s exact time of breaking camp being unknown till his camp actually ended officially, it was difficult to co-ordinate a time to meet even though the venue has already been decided. Well, that gave me “excuse” to play more Arcana Heart after claiming $10 play value from Zone X@DG (MIP birthday privilege ftw). More details about AH in another entry (probably gonna be long. skip that if u must.)
Well in the end, all except Clarence (who’s ill after Sports Camp) met up before 7pm. So the first objective was to get tickets for the show since attendance could finally be confirmed. Didn’t bother to check GV@PS beforehand but turns out they were selling like hot cakes anyway. Even The Cathay had their next 2 earliest shows SOLD OUT and the following one left with first row. So ended up with the 1125pm show -_- This is why I dont watch movies in town on a weekend if I can help it but yesterday was special so that’s an exception :D
Well, being a Saturday, queues were a common sight at all established restaurant. Why a restaurant? Cos it’s my 21st bday and it ought to be something more special mah :P Ah well, after some deliberation and walking around, ended up at PastaMania @ PS B2. Actually went there once (and my first time) a few weeks back getting a bday present for another friend of mine. Opted for Tuna & Bacon this time, turned out to be pretty nice and it’s more to my liking than creamy chicken which I tried the previous time.
Then my good friends gave me a surprise by revealing their bday gift to me! I totally didn’t see that coming. Nice work they did in hiding that plan. Haha. It’s a leather wallet from The Wallet Shop. No idea how much it costs though, and of course they were most unwilling to let me know how much. So it’s an upgrade for me and for me to finally join them in using such wallets. Shall migrate it later in the day/week depending on my mood. Lols.
Ah so, after dinner and before movie is like a couple of hours. So it’s back to more AH. Can’t blame us (mainly me and XX) for that since so far I only know ZoneX @ DG and Lot 1 have this game. Even the great Bugis arcade doesnt have it. Not sure if anywhere else in SG has it. Finally completed with Lilica and tried out Mei Fang which I manage to complete with. More on those in a later entry.
Then it’s movie time! Sadly though, there was a serious audio glitch. Okay it’s not a glitch. The crew screwed the audio up and replace the movie’s audio with audio from trailers from Simpsons movie, the upcoming Bourne movie and more which by then I couldn’t be bothered to keep track since I was trying hard to lip-read the actors/actresses in the movie while reading the subtitles and understanding what the heck was going on. Luckily some Cathay representative came and announced they would restart the show from the beginning~ Not that bad huh, but wasted my efforts in trying to understand a movie with a totally wrong audio and reading subtitles while attempting to lip-read. Overall a good movie, again review is in a later entry.
After movie it’s home sweet home, which is why I am writing this entry at a time such as past 3am.

5) got gifts from mum & grandma (whee 3)
Blah, wad a narrative entry. And it’s the longest one so far this month. Hic. Anyway, off to bed now. Yawn~~ movie review + AH game comments another time. Good way to introduce new entries. Lalala~~
